Ketubah for Groom Named Tzvi

December 5th, 2020|Even HaEzer|

QUESTION

Brooklyn, NY

Writing a ketubah for chatan whose name is Tzvi. Am I crazy or does that mean ketubah will have a line where it says וצבי צבי, and is that an issue?

ANSWER

Yes, it will say that. but if you don’t want it to look too weird, you could either put a patach under the first וצבי or you could write וצבי הר’ צבי or וצבי החתן צבי or something along those lines.
