Eating in the Sukkah on Simchat Torah

I’m curious on your thoughts on eating in the sukkah on Simchat Torah. The Shulkhan Aruch OC 666:1 seems to say you need to remove pots and pans or make some kind of hekeir. What will suffice? Can someone just say before the meal “this is not for the sake of a mitzvah” and would that be okay or does it need to be literal hekeir. Thank you!

Setting Up a Hammock on Shabbat

May one set up a temporary hammock on Shabbat/Yom Tov, assuming it doesn’t require knots, not on a tree. Is it problematic if it’s attached to a pole that is part of the Sukkah structure? What about a pole that is part of a building structure (e.g. a fire escape)?

Assuming it’s temporary, it’s fine. Connected to a tree would be no good – משמש באילן, but this way, the worst it could be is עשיית, and if it’s temporary and made for use
